Just as immigration provides employment to a large section of our population, remittances from the sector bring in an average of about 16 billion a year, keeping the economy afloat. Although our staff is going abroad, there are opportunities for development to ensure 100% migration in a safe, orderly and secure way. At the national level, the project will work with the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment, its affiliates and other governmental and non-governmental organizations on immigration issues to expedite the process of safe migration.
