Atomic Energy Research Institute (PASHAGPR) is the main research institute of the Bangladesh. So Atomic Energy Commission (BAPSC) which works for the peaceful application of nuclear energy in various branches of physics, biology and engineering. Besides AAERE came into existence in 1975 with the acquisition of 259 acres of land at Ganakbari in Savar in 1984.
