It was assign to Dhaka University. The University of Dhaka used to offer MBBS degrees in many medical colleges including IPGMR activities. The name was Institute of Post Graduate Medicine and Research. The Institute of Post Graduate Medicine and Research was establish in Dhaka in 1985 to provide postgraduate courses in medical education. বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের চাকরি দেখে আবেদন করুন। বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বাংলাদেশের প্রথম মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, পিজি হাসপাতাল হিসাবে আরও বেশি পরিচিত স্নাতকোত্তর শিক্ষা ও গবেষণার দায়িত্ব থাকলে প্রতিষ্ঠানটি ডিগ্রি দেওয়ার ক্ষমতা রাখেনি। এটি ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়কে দেওয়া হয়েছিল। ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় আইপিজিএমআর কার্যক্রম সহ অনেক মেডিকেল কলেজগুলিতে এমবিবিএস ডিগ্রি সরবরাহ করত। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় হওয়ার আগে নাম ছিল স্নাতকোত্তর মেডিসিন ও গবেষণা ইনস্টিটিউট। মেডিকেল শিক্ষায় স্নাতকোত্তর কোর্স সরবরাহের জন্য ১৯৮৫ সালে ঢাকায় স্নাতকোত্তর মেডিসিন ও গবেষণা ইনস্টিটিউট প্রতিষ্ঠা করা হয়। ৩০ এপ্রিল ১৯৯৭ -এ সংসদীয় অধ্যাদেশের মাধ্যমে এটি একটি পূর্ণাঙ্গ মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে রূপান্তরিত হয়েছিল। এমবিবিএস কোর্স চালু হলেও এই ইনস্টিটিউটে কেবল স্নাতকোত্তর শিক্ষা দেওয়া হয়েছিল। বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের চাকরীর বিজ্ঞপ্তি সম্পর্কে আরও তথ্য নীচে রয়েছে।
