The syndicate was led by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor who was also the Chief Academic and Executive Officer of the University. The Vice-Chancellor is assisted by a Pro-Vice-Chancellor and a Treasurer to intensify the appropriate administrative and academic activities. They have been appointed by the Honorable Chancellor on the recommendation of the EU Board of Trustees. According to the Private Universities Act-2010, the Vice-Chancellor is responsible for conducting and managing administrative as well as academic matters following the guidelines and policies laid down by the EU Board of Trustees.
Uttara University Founder Vice-Chancellor Prof. M. He is also an alumnus of Vanderbilt University, a Nobel laureate in the United States. He possesses skills in national education that benefit students who want to build their sustainable careers in the modern world market. In this spirit, Dr. Rahman has established Uttara University, a significant number of educational institutions where meritorious and enthusiastic students benefit from their talents with quality material. Dr. Rahman is the author of various books published nationally and internationally.
