২০২১ সালের মাঝে শানোগ্রাফ্রিক্স সায়েন্স এন্ড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং আর অ্যারোস্পেস সায়েন্স এন্ড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং ও অ্যারোস্পেস বিভাগ চালু করা হবে। ২০২১ সালে স্নাতক পর্যায়ে ১৫০৫ জন ও স্নাতকোত্তর পর্যায়ে ৪৮০ জন শিক্ষার্থী ভর্তি করানো হবে। ২০২১ সালে মোট শিক্ষার্থী, শিক্ষক, কর্মকর্তা, কর্মচারী হবে যথাক্রমে ৮৭০০, ৬২১, ২৩৫, ৪৮৩ জন। নভেম্বর ২০১৮ সালে কুয়েট ইতিহাস এর সবচেয়ে বড় ৮৩৮ কোটি ৩৬ লক্ষ ৯৮ হাজার টাকার উন্নয়ন প্রকল্প অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়েছে। প্রকল্পের অধীনে ক্যাম্পাস সম্প্রসারণ এর জন্য পশ্চিম দিকে বিলান জমির ১৬.৩০২ একর জমি অধিগ্রহণ করা হবে ও ১০ তলা একাডেমিক ভবন, ১০ তলা ইনস্টিটিউট ভবন, ২ টি ছাত্রাবাস, ২টি ছাত্রীনিবাস বানানো হবে। প্রতিটি ছাত্রাবাস/ছাত্রীনিবাস ৬০০ আসন বিশিষ্ট হবে। এছাড়া খান জাহান আলী হল এবং লালন শাহ হল সহ পুরাতন ভবন সম্প্রসারণ করা হবে। খুলনা প্রকৌশল ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় নিয়োগ বিজ্ঞপ্তি ২০২২ এর আরো তথ্য নিচে দেখুন।

Khulna through an ordinance. After the transformation, its administrative, academic and financial strength as well as management underwent a complete change. The Hon’ble President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh is the ‘Visitor’ of all BITs. An office called Council of BITS was also establish in Dhaka and the Minister of Education was the ‘Chairman’ of the Council as a former officer. He was the Vice-Chairman of the Council’s BIT as the Executive Chief of the Council. The Board of Governors (BOG) was the supreme authority of each BIT and the BOG conducted all the necessary official functions through its meetings. Each BIT had a director as the executive head of the institute appointed by the Hon’ble President.
