Small farmer development foundation job circular 2023, At the initiative of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the “Small Farmers and Landless Workers Development Project” started experimentally in 3 Sadar Thanas of Comilla, Bogra and Mymensingh districts in the financial year 1985-1986. As the progress of the experimental activities of the project observed satisfactorily, the activities of the project extended to 11 upazilas of Patuakhali and Barguna districts from July 1986. The first phase of the project completed in June 1991. The second phase of the project implemented in 1991-96. During the implementation of the second phase of the project, activities were implemented in 21 upazilas by involving 4 upazilas of Barisal district and 3 upazilas of Bhola district.

The third phase of the project implemented in 1998-99. During the implementation of the third phase, Kachua upazila of Chandpur district included. The project transformed into a limited company called “Small Farmers Development Foundation” by registering with the Directorate of Joint Capital Companies. Firms under Section 27 of the Companies Act, 1994 with existing assets and liabilities at maturity. To alleviate poverty and improve the quality of life by increasing the source of income through self-employment of men. Women from rural landless, marginal farmers and small farming families and by encouraging them to participate in various income generating activities. Improving the quality of life of the target population of the Foundation through planning. Besides management and implementation of activities to create self-employment opportunities and provide overall support to them. Organize, supervise, coordinate, manage and assist the beneficiary members / members to achieve their capabilities.
