BRTC Job Circular 2023, Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) is a state-owned transport corporation in Bangladesh. It was established under Government Ordinance No. 7 dated 4 February 1961. After the independence of Bangladesh in 1971, it bears its present name. It is responsible for providing buses and maintaining public transport in the Roads and Highways Department. BRTC is a semi-autonomous corporation under the Ministry of Communications. The governing body includes the Minister of Communications, the Secretary of Communications, the Director of the Corporation and other officials. BRTC provides both passenger and freight services. BRTC operates three international bus services (Dhaka to Kolkata, Agartala and Siliguri, India). Within Bangladesh, it operates inter-district bus services through bus depots in Chittagong, Bogra, Comilla, Pabna, Rangpur, Barisal and Sylhet.

It also operates intercity bus services to many major cities in the country. For freight, BRTC operates a fleet of 170 trucks. About 20 per cent of government food transport uses BRTC trucks. The two main truck depots are located at Dhaka and Chittagong. BRTC’s main driver training institute is located at Joydebpur in Gazipur district, about 40 km north of Dhaka. Bangladesh road transport corporation job circular 2023
Initially, state-run Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) buses with modern facilities will run on Motijheel-Uttara route. The bus will have not only WiFi internet service, but also car tracking technology. The vehicle tracking device will help to identify the bus and its distance. State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Junaid Ahmed Palak said passengers could avail free internet services by scanning the QR code of the bus. To get the service, passengers need to activate the device’s QR code scanner. He said the service has been launched experimentally and if successful, it will be rolled out to BRTC buses plying on other routes in the city. BTRC Chairman Jasim Uddin Ahmed said the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) was providing technical assistance to the Access to Information (A2I) program project.
