The school year starts in January and ends in December. Divided into 2 posts each year, examinations are held for all classes at the of each term. In each term, students sit for 2 class exams for 25 marks. The test marks of the two classes are add to the average and term tests which are convert to 100 marks but 75. Students go to higher classes when they pass the exam. All students from KG to V follow the same syllabus. After passing Class 2, they are given a choice to follow the international or national curriculum.
Students in this course are ready for Edexcel IGCSE and IAL exams. Topics taught include Bengali, English, Mathematics B, more Pure Mathematics, ICT, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Human Biology, Accounting, Economics and Business Studies. Students choose at least six subjects, including compulsory English, Bengali and Maths B, and are allow to sit for the IGCSE after finishing their class, but most prefer to sit for the exam after finishing the tenth grade.
