Friends In Village Development Bangladesh Job Circular 2022 (FIVDB), Friends in Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) is a development agency established in 1979. The main objectives of the organization are to contribute to poverty reduction, protection and ecosystem and environment regeneration by empowering disadvantaged women, men and children. Methods include education, social organization building, financial services, health, livelihood and food security. FIVDB envisions a vibrant society based on the principles of justice, fairness, democracy and environmentally sound. Our goal is to provide a greater voice for disadvantaged women, men and children; Reduce their vulnerabilities, increase their use of citizenship rights and help them improve their quality of life.

FIVDB aims to give disadvantaged women, men and children a greater voice, reduce their vulnerability, increase their use of citizenship rights and help them improve their quality of life. To that end, FIVDB pursues educational, social and economic capacity building and social-organizational approaches. It works to strengthen social safety and security networks and participates in national and international publicity and advocacy. FIVDB founded in 1979 by a team of development workers working for the International Voluntary Services Inc. which works to improve the living standards of disadvantaged people in today’s Sylhet division of the Northeast.
It started in 1981 with a file of 23 villages of Sylhet Sadar Police Station. The history of FIVDB seen in two main contexts: (a) the program and its coverage between FIVDB and (b) the outreach program. Both of them reached the present stage through continuous experimentation, action and reflection in the need of time. Organizational and programmatic growth also greatly influenced by other development initiatives that exist and are evolving in the surrounding context, with the support and resources available for it and the limitations and limitations of the environment.
