The Technical Training Center (TTC) established in 1974 to train retired Army members and their dependents during World War II. The center shifted to Khulna in 1974 with the financial and technical support of SEATO. Khulna Technical Training Center (KTTC) is one of the oldest and largest technical training centers in the history of skills development in Bangladesh. This technical training center established to train manpower for local and global markets. Training is provided in various employable trades as per the demand of local and foreign job market. Khulna TTC is able to launch any course on emerging technology keeping pace with the changing technology.

Skilled manpower needed to build the country in the post-independence period. As a result, a traditional technical training center was set up in 1977 on 11.39 acres of land on the west side of the Maskanda bus stand on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway near Mymensingh town in the greater Mymensingh region to create skilled manpower at home and abroad. The company started its journey in 1985 with about 80 trainees in 4 trades.
